Call for Papers: Catena Aurea at Kalamazoo
Call for Papers— "Thomas Aquinas I: The Catena aurea"
Kalamazoo Medieval Conference, May 9–14, 2022
Submission deadline: September 15
B. Jane Peters and John F. Boyle have issued an unique call for papers for the first of the three “Thomas Aquinas” satellite sessions hosted by the Thomas Aquinas Society at the 2022 International Congress of Medieval Studies, typically hosted at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. (The Congress will be hosted entirely online in 2022.) The “Thomas Aquinas I” session will be dedicated to research on St. Thomas Aquinas’s Catena aurea, his compiled commentaries on the four Gospels from the Eastern and Western Fathers of the Church. In 2018, Dr. Jorgen Vijgen posted on the digital access to the Catena previously on Thomistica.net.
More information on the “Thomas Aquinas I: The Catena aurea” session and its call for papers can be found below. Abstract submissions should be sent no later than September 15, 2021. Proposals are to be submitted via the Confex site linked here by finding the precise session for submission.
